Privacy Policy

Last updated October 21, 2026

This policy explains how BuzzAhh, Inc. ("BuzzAhh", "we", "us") handles personal information in Muzter, our crew scheduling service at muzter.com. It covers employers, workers, and people whose details an employer enters as crew members.

We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

1. What we collect

Account. Name, email, mobile number, password (stored hashed), and sign-in times.

Employer profile. Company name, contact name, phone, city, website, description and logo.

Crew records an employer creates. The person's name, mobile number and email; the role and pay rate the employer sets; private notes and a private rating; whether they have been invited to texts and whether they turned texts on; and whether they have opened their schedule link.

Text message consent. When a crew member turns texts on, we record when, the internet address it came from, and the exact wording they agreed to. We also record when texts are turned off, including by a STOP reply.

Schedules. Shifts, times, places, addresses, notes, answers (confirmed, can't make it, and any reason given), reminders sent, expenses a worker enters and the employer's decision on them, and whether an employer marked someone as not having shown up.

Registry profiles, only if a worker creates one. Display name, headline, bio, home city, travel distance, pay range, roles, self-reported credentials, work attributes, availability and work history.

Hiring. Offers, applications, shortlisting, and references (shown publicly only if the worker publishes them).

Monthly reports. Each employer's monthly report, the "Useful" and "Not relevant" answers its team gives, and the questions they type into "Ask about this month" with the answers given.

Technical. Internet address, browser, and logs of requests, including delivery results for emails and texts (who, when, delivered or failed).

2. What we do not collect

Social Security numbers; bank or payment details for workers; hours worked or time records; background checks or criminal history; GPS or location tracking; biometrics; and anything about protected characteristics such as age, race, sex, disability or immigration status. Employer search and matching cannot filter on any of these.

3. Where crew details come from

Most crew members do not sign themselves up. Their employer enters their name, mobile number and email so the schedule can reach them, and confirms it is allowed to give us those details. An employer can invite someone to get texts, but only that person can turn texts on. If you were added and would rather not be, reply STOP to any text, or contact us and we will remove you.

4. How we use it

To deliver schedules and answers between an employer and their crew; to send reminders and alerts by email and, where you turned them on, by text; to show match scores and search results; to keep accounts secure and prevent abuse; to provide support; and to understand, in aggregate, which parts of Muzter are used. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

5. Text messages

Muzter sends texts only to people who turned them on themselves. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop, START to start again, and HELP for help. Your mobile number and your text consent are used only to send you the shift texts you asked for. They are not sold, and they are not shared with anyone for their own marketing. See Muzter shift texts for details.

6. Who sees what

InformationWho sees it
Your schedule and your answersYou, and the employer whose crew you are on

Private notes, private ratings, "didn't show" marksOnly the employer who recorded them. Never other employers, never shown in search, never sent to the worker
When and from where you consented to textsUs, as the record of your consent. Your employer sees only whether texts are on

Service providers. We use a small number of providers to run Muzter: our web hosting provider, Resend (email delivery), Twilio (text message delivery), Anthropic (writes the narration for an employer's monthly report and answers its team's questions about it) and ElevenLabs (reads that narration aloud, and, where an employer uses Voice, turns what a manager says into text and reads the answer aloud). They process information on our instructions only and may not use it for their own purposes.

What the report providers receive. Anthropic receives the employer's monthly figures, such as shift counts, call-outs, scheduled hours and, for people allowed to see them, scheduled costs. Crew members' names are replaced with placeholders before anything is sent to Anthropic. ElevenLabs receives the finished narration to read aloud, which can include a crew member's name, for example "Ana covered 3 call-outs." Neither receives phone numbers, email addresses, notes or text message consent records.

Ask Muzter and Voice. When a manager asks Muzter something, typed or spoken, Anthropic receives the words and what is on the manager's screen, such as that week's shifts, with crew members' names replaced by placeholders, so it can understand the request. With Voice, the app listens only while Talk is switched on, and sends a recording only after the manager has spoken. ElevenLabs turns the recording into text; we do not keep the recording. We keep the text of what was said and the reply, with how long it took, to run and improve the service. Voice switches itself off after 30 seconds with nothing said, and whenever the app is closed or hidden.

We disclose information if the law requires it, and will tell you unless we are prohibited from doing so.

7. Acting for the employer

For crew records and schedules, we act for the employer: we process that information on the employer's instructions and for no other purpose, and we do not sell it or use it to build our own profile of anyone.

8. How long we keep it

While the account is open. If an employer removes you from their crew, the membership is archived so the schedule history stays accurate, and it stops being used. Accounts closed on request are deleted or de-identified within 30 days, except records we must keep for legal or accounting reasons, including the record of text message consent and opt-outs.

9. Your rights

You can ask to know what we hold about you, get a copy, correct it, or have it deleted, and we will not treat you differently for asking. Email muzter@buzzahh.com. We verify that a request comes from you, and we accept requests from authorized agents. If an employer entered your details, some requests are theirs to fulfil; we will point you to them and help.

10. Security

Traffic is encrypted in transit, passwords are stored hashed, and access to production data is limited. Your schedule link is a private address: anyone who has it can see and answer those shifts, so treat it like a key. No system is perfectly secure; we will tell you of a breach as the law requires.

11. Children

Muzter is for people 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information about children.

12. Changes

We will post changes here with a new date and, for material changes, email account holders.
